Who we are

Jenica Flippo is an accomplished wine professional with nearly two decades of experience in hospitality, wine education, and guest experience. Currently serving as Lead Sommelier at Charlie’s in Saint Helena, Napa Valley, Jenica continues to bring her expertise in wine curation, staff development, and creating memorable, inclusive hospitality.

Her career has spanned some of the country’s most respected dining rooms, including The Bazaar in Washington, DC, and Beckon in Denver, CO—where her work as Wine Director contributed to the restaurant earning a Michelin star. With an Advanced Sommelier certification, hands-on winemaking experience, and extensive global travel, Jenica blends deep technical knowledge with a passion for making wine approachable and engaging.

At the core of her work is a commitment to fostering connection through food, wine, and storytelling—whether in the dining room, through consulting, or by curating unforgettable culinary and wine-focused journeys.
